OCALA -- The Rev. David Carrol Boaz, 74, retired Baptist minister having served as pastor of First Baptist Church of Ocala, died Dec. 28, 1991, at Marion Community Hospital.
A native of Mayfield, Ky., he came here eight years ago from Orlando.
The Rev. Boaz was a member of First Baptist Church of Ocala.
Survivors include his wife, Georgie C. Boaz, Ocala; daughter, Susie Atkins, Winston Salem, N.C.; sons, Mike Boaz, Winston Salem, N.C., and Dave Boaz, Spencer, Mass.; sisters, Eunice Orr, Sterling Heights, Mich., Allie May Howard, Marion, Ill., Martha Robinson, Shelby, N.C., and Lois Dunlop, Venice; brothers, Harlod Boaz, Maryfield, Ky., George Boaz, San Clemente, Calif., and John Boaz, Madisonville, Ky.; and eight grandchildren.
Hiers Funeral Home, Ocala, is handling arrangements.
