Greta was predeceased by her loving husband Leonard Alexander in 2002 and her brother Donald Friedman.
She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Shelley Alexander-DeLaurentis and her husband, Michael, of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania and Nina Alexander-Spinelli and her husband, Ernie, of Millington, New Jersey.
Greta was the beloved grandmother of seven grandchildren, Micah DeLaurentis, Lucy DeLaurentis, Susanna DeLaurentis, Scott Spinelli, Steven Spinelli, Abbey Spinelli-LaRosa, Jay Spinelli, and great-granddaughter, Julia LaRosa.
She was also survived by her sister-in-law, Myra Friedman of Chicago, Illinois.
Services were held on Monday, November 26, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. in Menorah Chapels at Millburn, 2950 Vauxhall Road, Union, New Jersey. Interment in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, New Jersey.
