After weary months of pain and suffering Mrs. Helen M. SMITH, wife of Richard S. SMITH, died at noon on Tuesday [February 27th]. Her disease was dropsy. Twenty-five years ago, when Mr. and Mrs. Smith were yet in the hey-day of their youth, they came from Woodstock, Ohio, and settled near this city. Both of them were industrious and ambitious for a home of their own, and for years they have owned one of the nicest farms in the county, within one mile of the business part of the city. No expense of labor was spared to beautify their home surroundings. Mrs. Smith was a ministering angel. Her age was sixty years, three months and ten days. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. T. I. COULTAS, were held yesterday afternoon, when the body was consigned to the tomb in Woodlawn Cemetery.
