Anna was born on May 1, 1916 to Alois (Louis) and Yosefa (Josephine Kaiser) Hajek near Glover, ND. She passed away on April 13, 2014 at St. Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND.
She worked in the fruit industry as well as in the hospitality industry for many years.
Survivors include four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers, Charles Hajek and Tony Hajek and her sister, Mary (Anton) Wagner.
Anna will be buried next to her first husband, Grant Mattson, in Tahoma Cemetery in Yakima, WA.
