Angela was born on Nov. 4, 1980, at St. Marys Hospital in Madison. Angie grew up in Oregon graduating from Oregon High School with the class of 1999. She was baptized and confirmed at Holy Mother of Consolation Church in Oregon. Angie received her child care teaching certificate while in high school and went on to care for many children. She always loved children and in August of 2002 she worked for the Monona Grove School District where she was an assistant in the special education room caring for special needs children. Angie taught Religious Education at Holy Mother of Consolation Church for seven years. She went to Madison Area Technical College and graduated as an LPN in 2003. Angie worked as an EKG technician at University Hospital, Fitch's Chophouse in Fitchburg and was currently employed with REM Home Health Care in Madison. Each Christmas season Angie would be the first one to wear a Santa hat and wore it all season long. Angie had been chosen to go to Orlando, Fla. to take care of Marko Manning with the Make a Wish Foundation in January. She loved little Marko! Angie also enjoyed the company of Granny Anne who passed away three years ago. She is survived by her parents, Anne (Tim) Olson of Oregon; Larry Drake of Oregon; a brother, Andrew Drake of Whitewater; a sister, Jennifer Drake of Madison; a brother, Michael Olson of Oregon; grandparents, Maurice and Loretta Oehler of Prairie du Chien; grandmother, Nancy L. Drake of Oregon; grandparents, Kenneth and Ardella Olson of Oregon; aunts, uncles, and cousins, Mark and Kris Oehler and their children, Claire and Nathaniel, Tom and Mary Oehler and their children, Benjamin and Samuel, Dave and Mary McDonnell and their twin girls, Kelly and Megan, John and Tammy Cordrey and their children, Christopher and Daniel, Doug and Michelle Olson and their children, Aaron and Mollie, Robert Drake, James and Diane Drake and their children, Nicholas (Macalyn), Steve, Timothy and Jessalyn; and also many, many friends throughout the Madison area. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Byron Drake.
