Maranda Jane Adams, 93, formerly of North Brobst Street, Shillington, passed away April 14, 2014 in Mifflin Center where she was a guest for 1 year. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Adams, who passed away December 10, 1999. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Elsie R. (Strohm) Beilhart. She was a 1938 graduate of Shillington High School and was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Shillington. She was employed in the office of Maier's Bakery for 5 years. Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter and two sons. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her siblings: Iola V. Lunden; Richard Beilhart; and John A. Beilhart Jr. Funeral Services will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave., Shillington, Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Carl W. Filer officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday 10-11:00 a.m.
