Born near Cairo, Mr. Boucher had lived in Moberly 45 years. The greater part of his employment at the post office was at the stamp and general delivery windows, where he usually was able to greet customers by their names. He retired in July 1943.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vernon Bowman of Kansas City and Mrs. A.F. Kenton of Atlanta, Georgia; two sons, Delbert R. Boucher of Kansas City and Herman Boucher of Wood River, Illinois; a brother, John W Boucher of Jefferson City; a sister, Mrs. H.G. Trimble of the Boucher home, 326 Woodland Ave.; and 13 grandchildren.
Mr. Boucher was a member of Central Christian Church, which he served as a deacon. Services will be held at 3:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in Central Christian Church by the Rev. A.E. Landolt, pastor. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery." Moberly Monitor-Index, November 8, 1948
