Roy Eisenbraun: Was Mechanic

STRUTHERS - Roy C. Eisenbraun, 82, of 4200 S.E. St. Lucie Blvd., Stuart, Fla., formerly of Struthers, died of a heart attack at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Stuart Convalescent Center, where he had been a patient for two months.

Mr. Eisenbraun was born Aug. 28, 1896, in Struthers, a son of Henry and Elizabeth Moseley Eisenbraun, and moved to Florida two years ago from North Benton. He was a mechanic for the Erskine Trucking Co. for 19 years and later operated a lawnmower shop here. He attended the Port Salerno Baptist Church in Florida and years ago played football for the old Amlyon Branch semi-professional football team. His wife, the former Helen Steele, whom he married in 1918, died in 1968.

He leaves a stepson, Kenneth "Whitey" Eisenbraun of Stuart: two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Ballantine of Parma and Mrs. Alma Farmer of Marion: a grandson; and two great-grandsons. A son, Warren, died in 1976, and a brother, Wilfred, died May 20.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Davidson Berker Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
