Tammy Jo Beck, 42, of Snow Shoe, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at her residence. Born November 4, 1972, in State College, she was a daughter of the late Brady I. and Elsie I. (Lindstrom) Beck. She was a graduate of the Pittsburgh School for the Blind. Surviving her are two sisters, Kathy Beck and Tina Sue Padisak (Steve), both of Snow Shoe; one brother, Tom Beck (Donna), of Warriors Mark; eight nieces and nephews; seven great nieces and great nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 10 until noon on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. A funeral service will be held at noon at the funeral home, with the Reverend Samuel Reese, officiating. Burial will follow in the Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tammy Jo's name may be made to Cerebral Palsy of Pennsylvania, 925 Linda Lane, Camp Hill, PA 17011; The American Cancer Society , 123 South Sparks Street, State College, PA 16801; or the Black Oak Church, Route 322, Port Matilda, PA 16870.
