Springstube, Shirley M.

Shirley M. Springstube, age 84, of Two Rivers, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at her residence.

Shirley was born October 16, 1929, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Klein) Lawerentz. On May 21, 1947, she married Raymond O. Springstube. She was a foster parent for many children over the years. Shirley enjoyed crafting, doing puzzles, and reading.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Springstube, Two Rivers; two daughters and two son-in-law: Pam and Dale Pagel, Green Bay; Karen and Michael Feifarek, Two Rivers; three sons and daughters-in-law: Bill and Janice Springstube, Manitowoc; Allan and Michele Springstube, Mishicot; Dan and Sue Springstube, Two Rivers; 13 grandchildren: Jeff Pagel, Heather Stuebs, Stacy Hein, James Springstube II, Jana Vandenhouten, Saundra Courchane, Jason Springstube, Aaron and Nathan Springstube, Jesse and Forest Springstube, Matthew and Rachel Long; 11 great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Vernon and Lillian Lawerentz, Manitowoc; one sister: Elaine Henzell, Two Rivers; and two daughters-in-law: Julie Springstube and Barb Taddy. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Shirley was preceded in death by two sons: James and Donald Springstube; three sisters: Malitta Swetlik, Armilla Drossart, Elinor Pilger; and two brothers: Charles and Roland Lawerentz.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014, at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Chaplain Elisabeth Sinclair. Burial will follow at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 p.m.
