He was present in the Bloody Brook Massacre 9-18-1675 and Indian Raid on Deerfield Mass. 9-18-1677 where he was taken by foot to Canada and redeemed and returned to Deerfield and thus moved his family to Connecticut. Buried presumed in Congregational Church Cemetery in Suffield Conneticut, which is not cataloged and since abandoned, and some parts are under the church itself.
