JACKSONVILLE - Graveside service for Sara Knight West, 94, will be at 2 p.m. today, June 24, 2008, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Clarence Wood and Eddie Carter officiating, K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation directing services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. today. Mrs. West died Sunday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. She is survived by two sisters, Lois "Tom" Mittie Knight and Dorothy P. Knight, of Jacksonville; a brother, James Knight, of Titusville, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. West enjoyed gardening and visiting with family and friends. She was dedicated to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Andrew and Mittie Zella Knight; four brothers and their wives, Elmer and Lois Knight, Marion and Mozel Knight, Marvin and Katherine Knight and Marrell and Francis Knight; five sisters and their husbands, Eula and Charlie East, Eunice Nelson, Hazel and Arthur Horton, Miriam and Lodric Clark and Mildred and Herbert Carter.
