Lucille, age 71, of Lafayette, formerly of Pawtucket, RI, Horseheads, NY, and Big Flats, NY, died on Wednesday at St. Anthony Health Care. Born the daughter of Maurice and Jeanette Cartier Martel. Her first marriage was to William D. Ronan Sr., and he preceded her in death. She married Gerald B. Rife, and he also preceded her in death. Lucille was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist where she was very engaged. She enjoyed time with family and friends, and had an incredible sense of humor and zest for life. She provided volunteer services for many individuals in need. She was preceded in death by her brother, David; her sister, Connie; and a son, William Ronan Jr. Memorial Service was held on Saturday in Lafayette, IN.
