Charles Edward Foss, 63-year-old
Alpine rancher, died at a local hos-
pital yesterday from injuries re-
civet Aug.,17 on his bee ranch.
Dave Gershon, deputy coroner, re-
ported. Foss, a resident of Alpine
for 59 years, fell from a tree while
gathering honey from a bee=hive.
He was semi- conscious until his
death.
The body was taken to Erickson's
mortuary in La Mesa. Funeral ser-
vices will be held at 10 a.m. Tues-
day at the Alpine community
church. Creamtion will follow. The
Rev. W. H. Fuller will officiate.
