HENRY V. LABELLE, 62, OF COOKS CORNERS SUCCUMBS YESTERDAY
Mr. Henry V. LaBelle, 62, Cooks Corners, died yesterday March 22, 1967 at the Alice Hyde Hospital following an illness of several weeks.
The deceased was born in South Bangor on April 29, 1904, the son of the late Alfred and Martha Gratton LaBelle. On July 31, 1922 he was united in marriage at St Mary's church F. C. to the former Mabel Dumas of Fort Covington who survives.
Mr. LaBelle operated a milk truck and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Joseph's church Bombay.
Survivors besides his wife are two sons, Derald and John, both of Cooks Corners and eight daughters, Mrs. Bertram (Dorothea) Tuper, Cooks Corners; Mrs. Floyd (Doris) Mitchell, Brasher Falls; Mrs. Clifford (Rubena) Tuper, Haddam, Conn.; Mrs. Leon (Rubecca) Tuper, Jr., Bombay; Mrs. Frank (Shirley) Tallman, Cooks Corners; Mrs. Merle (Joyce) Winters, North Bangor; Mrs. Arthur (June) Mayville, Cooks Corners; and Miss Evelyn at home. Also surviving are two sisters; Miss Mary Ghostlaw, Malone; Mrs. Anna Carr, Plattsburgh; 35 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One son and two daughters predeceased their father.
Mr. LaBelle is in repose at the Cappiello and McKenzie Funeral Home with tentative funeral arrangements scheduled from St. Joseph's church, Bombay, Saturday, March 25th with the Rev. Gerald Sharland, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Augustine's cemetery, North Bangor.
