Forrest Neill Armstrong
TISHOMINGO – Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 28 for Forrest Neill Armstrong, 99, at the First United Methodist Church of Tishomingo, officiated by Rev. Chuck Rettig. Interment followed at the Tishomingo City Cemetery.
Born October 25, 1895 in Fulton County, Arkansas, Armstrong died Thursday, January 26, 1995 in Tulsa.
A veteran of World War I, Armstrong was an employee and partner of Armstrong’s Dry Goods Store in Tishomingo for 53 years. A charter member of the Tishomingo Rotary Club, Armstrong served as President of the Tishomingo School Board and was a member of the Tishomingo Golf Club.
