This is in loving memory of Dora Etta Lee Taylor, 77, of Clendenin, who went home to be with the Lord on December 26, 2008, following an accident.

Dora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a longtime member of Thorofare Community Church.

She was the daughter of the late John and Etta May Ash Lee. Dora was also preceded in death by her brother, three sisters, and infant son, Harold Dean Taylor.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William Taylor; son, Ike Taylor and wife, Kim, of Clendenin; daughters, Delores Atkins and husband, Jay, of Tennessee and Carol Snodgrass and husband, Eddy, of Clendenin; eight loving grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many friends.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 29, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with her grandson, Pastor Bill Harper, officiating. Burial will be at the Taylor Cemetery, Clendenin.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
