Philura was the wife of Adney O White, and the mother of Florence White Sherman (1869-1940). She was born in Jefferson Co NY, and lived in Pamelia, then in Hopkinson, St Lawrence Co until marrying Adney. They lived in Constable. She lived in Benton Harbor, Berrian Lake, Michigan from about 1892 until 1910, when she returned home to Altmar. She is buried in the Pineville Cemetery on Rt. 13 in Pineville, NY. Her husband Adney died in 1908, while they were living in Michigan, and he is buried there, in Crystal Springs Cemetery. Her parents were Anton and Emeline Cole.
