Judith A. Smart, 60, of 7 Rye Place, Nashua, died Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 9, 1998, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass., after a four-month hospitalization. Mrs. Smart was a homemaker and spent all her life caring for others. She was an avid antique collector. She loved interior home decorating and recently spent time renovating her seacoast property in Maine. She was educated and graduated from high school in Leominster, Mass. Mrs. Smart was born in Erie, Pa., on Sept. 5, 1938, daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Russell) Belliveau. During her youth, she resided in Fitchburg, Mass., and Leominster. A resident of Nashua for many years, she also made her home in Hudson, Londonderry and Derry.
She was predeceased by a son, Gregory W. Smart, who died in 1990.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Wil liam J. Smart of Nashua two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ricky J. and Susan J. Smart of Hudson, and Dean J. Smart of Nashua a granddaughter, Ashley Latham, and her mother, Sarah Latham, both of Chester her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard J. and Mary A. Smart of Manchester three brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law, James R. and Deborah Smart of Manchester, Scott P. and Yvonne Smart, and Jeffrey A. and Michelle Smart, all of Hudson, Diane Payne of Tyngsborough, Mass., and Carrie Smart of Manchester several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a son, Gregory W. Smart, who died in 1990.
