I believe I can confirm that this headstone belongs to William Marquis Endsley, the fourth child and second son of John Q. and Isabel (Elliot) Endsley. He died when only slight over 15 months of age and the cause of death is unknown. He was born on the Mill Creek Township farm on Chestnut Ridge, some 5 miles north of Keene. He also has a sister, Mary Melissa Endsley (Dec 28 1853 - Jan 21 1868) who did not reach adulthood. Family records indicate she may have been interred at Keene or Clark Cemetery.
