At Pueblo, Colo., on December 10th, 1910, at 11 a.m., occurred the death of Miss Lyda Beatty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Beatty, of Saltsburg.
Miss Beatty had been in Colorado for several years where her health was better than in Pennsylvania, but she finally succumbed to the disease, tuberculosis. The day of her death and before the telegram had reached Saltsburg her father had arranged to go to Colorado, but before leaving the sad news reached him and he remained at home and made arrangements for the shipment of the body to Saltsburg, where it arrived Wednesday evening. Miss Beatty was well known to many people of this place, having at one time attended the Indiana Normal.
