Elizabeth (Porat) Kaszycki, 83, of Newington, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
She was the beloved wife of Henry Kaszycki for 47 years. Betty was a lifelong resident of Newington, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Emma (Margelot) Porat.
She worked at the Hartford Steam Boiler Company and retired after 30 years of service. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and vacationing at Lake George and travelling to New Hampshire with her husband.
In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her twin brother, Robert Porat and his wife, Florence of New Hampshire and Albert Porat of New Fairfield along with several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, April 21st from 8:30a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 99 Franklin Sq., New Britain. She will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain.
