Richard England Atkins of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Charleston, W.Va., died Nov. 14, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Atkins was born Sept. 1, 1944, and was the son of the late Harry V. Atkins and Marjorie E. Atkins. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara on May 15, 2013. He is survived by four children, Sarah, Chad, Carrie and Tyler, and a brother, Edward G. Atkins.Mr. Atkins was a salesman all of his life, working for Prentice Hall and then selling financial plans. At the time of his death he was in the computer repair business. He was a member of the local business club. Rick will be missed by all.Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park in South Charleston on Friday, April 25. Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
