Jenevie V. Porat, 81, of New Fairfield, CT, beloved wife of Albert Porat, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, March 31, 2014, with her family by her side.
Jenevie was born in Hartford, a daughter of the late Frank and Victoria Wirth. She graduated from Collinsville High School and worked for the State of Connecticut, most recently for the Superior Court in Danbury, until her retirement.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son: Kevin Porat of New Fairfield. Her daughter: Lisa Porat and her husband, Brad Kocka, of Redding. Her beloved grandsons: Christian and Lucas Kocka also survive.
A Grave Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield, CT with the Rev. Patricia A. Nicholas, Pastor of the New Fairfield Congregational Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jenevie's memory may be made to Regional Hospice of Western CT, 39 Old Ridgebury Rd., Danbury, CT 06810
