Beulah B. Johnson, 91, of Nevada died of complications of diabetes at Story County Hospital in Nevada.
She was born to Lewis and Jennie (Bennethum) Kitchen at Iowa Center and ws a lifelong resident of Story County. She married Kenneth Johnson on Aug. 8, 1925, at Marshalltown. She lived as a homemaker and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Nevada.
Survivors include a daughter, LaVon Tjelmeland of Roland; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1989, a son, four sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct 3, at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. William Ballard officiating. Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery.
