Funeral services for Howard Banks 52, of Sunset Dr. will be 2:30PM Sunday in the chapel of Criss Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. John Dudgeon officiating. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens. Mr. Banks was stricken Thursday morning at Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp. where he was employed, and was dead on arrival at Licking Memorial Hospital. He had been employed at Kaiser Aluminum in the wire drawing department for 20 years. He was a member of Rocky Fork Church of Christ and was a deacon there He belonged to the Steel Workers Local Union and was a Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 329th Engineer Combat Battalion. He is survived by his wife Gladys (Rine) Banks, brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces.
