A memorial service for C. L. Richhart, 83, a former Star-Telegram reporter and a confidant of Amon G. Carter Sr., will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be at a later date after cremation.
Richhart died Thursday in a Fort Worth hospital.
He had been a reporter at the Star-Telegram for almost 50 years.
He was born Clarence Leon Richhart on Jan. 22, 1902, in Moweaqua, Ill.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Survivors include two sons, James Kenneth Richhart and Karl Edward Richhart, both of Fort Worth; and four grandsons, Bryan Edward Richhart, Barry Wayne Richhart, James Michael Richhart and Clifford Lawrence Richhart, all of Fort Worth.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Star-Telegram Goodfellow Fund.
