On July 13, 1956?, (believe this is incorrect) he was married to Nellie Elman of Mancato, Ks. To this union two children were born. A son, Everett died at the age of six in San Francisco.
Survivors include a daughter and two grandsons in San Francisco; two sisters and three brothers. Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Norman Lewis and burial was in the Forest City cemetery."
