Resident of San Jose, CA
Irma passed away peacefully at age 94. Born to John and Agatha Santacroce (deceased) in Pratola Peligna, Italy, she first resided in Hartford, CT, before moving to San Jose in 1948. Irma is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Leon; sons Robert (Marlene), Richard, daughters Susan (Hank), Lisa (Rob) and brother Nello (Pam). Loving grandmother to Robbie, Jason (Kellene), Krissy, Aaron (Kristina), Michele (Joe), Derrick, Jeffrey, Michael and Danny; great grandmother to Caden, Aubrey, Josephina and Savvy. She is preceded in death by brothers Mario and Fred, sisters Victoria and Elsa, and granddaughter Tiffany.
Irma was a devout Catholic, choir member and devoted parishioner at St. Christopher's Church and a proud member of Sons of Italy, ICF and Italian American Heritage Foundation. She will be missed tremendously but loved and remembered in family traditions.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Christopher's Church, 1576 Curtner Ave, San Jose. Interment to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
