Mattie Amanda Ranne, 88, of Bellmead, Texas, passed away Dec. 26, 2005, at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 pm. Thursday, Dec. 29, at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Mattie was born in Aquilla, Texas, to the late William E. and Bessie (Helm) Shelton. She worked as a seamstress for many years and attended Connally Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Wayne Niswanger.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Fletcher, of Burleson; sons, Fred Niswanger, of Teague and Ted Niswanger, of Bellmead; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Carrie Shelton, of Waco; and several nieces and nephews.
