ARMES – In Atherton, Jan. 2, 1955, George A. Armes, husband of the late Katherine M. Armes, father of Mrs. Iris K. Nelson of Atherton, Jack A. Armes of Greenbrae and the late Mrs. Jean Tognazzini of Atherton; grandfather of Don, Richard and Valarie Jean Tognazzini, George A. Armes II, Candice and Deborah Armes and James A. Nelson III; a native of San Francisco, aged 82 years. A member of Golden Gate Lodge No. 30, F&AM; Commercial Club, Bohemian Club of San Francisco and Menlo Country Club.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 1955, at the chapel of Roller and Hapgood, 980 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. Services under auspices of Golden Gate Lodge No. 30, F&AM. Interment Alta Mesa Cemetery.
