Private funeral services for Mrs. Frances Ackerman, 82, of the Rhinecliff Road, Rhinebeck, were held today (Thursday) at the Dapson Funeral Home with the Rev. Leslie Prutton officiating. Burial was in Rhinebeck Cemetery. Mrs. Ackerman died Tuesday at Northern Dutchess Hospital after a long illness. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Howard D. Kelly of Rhinebeck; a sister, Mrs. Milton Hatfield of Montclair, N.J., two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was born in New York City Aug. 28, 1893, the daughter of Hans and Nicotine Hansen Larsen. She married Robert G.W Ackerman, who died April 24.1960. The Rhinebeck Gazette, April 7, 1977.
