According to the De Ende Family Bible at the Library of Virginia, Stair Henry De Ende was the father of:
Simon Bolivar De Ende born 4 March 1825 and Benjamin Franklin De Ende born 14 August 1827, who was known as Franklin and removed to Houston, Texas with other relatives. (He died 13 Nov 1878, his burial was in Glenwood Cemetery).
There were other children not mentioned in the Bible, such as Emily, wife of one Timothy Donnellen, and Harriet.
Henry De Ende had a family by one Victoire Cavelier, a free woman of color, in New Orleans, and there was a lawsuit concerning his property and distribution to the heirs.
