Mrs. William McKay, 72, of Pleasant Ridge Rd., Milan, died at 8:37 p.m. yesterday in the Franciscan Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be held at 1 Wednesday afternoon at the Larson Funeral Home, Milan. The Rev. Robert E. Jensen, pastor of Milan First United Presbyterian Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
The former Fanny LaVon Mosher, daughter of Shed and Emma Sleep Mosher, was born Sept. 4, 1900, in Victoria, Ill. She moved to Rock Island at the age of 17, and had lived in the Milan area the past five years.
She was married to Mr. McKay in Galesburg, Aug. 10, 1918. She was a member of Royal Neighbors of America, Oakleaf Camp No. 1495.
Surviving are the widower; two daughters, Mildred L. McKay, in Chicago, and Mrs. Donald Andrews, Rock Island; five sisters, Mrs. Earl Briggs, Victoria, Mrs. Bill (Eva) Smith and Mrs. Raymond (Lucille) Smith, both of Laura, Ill., Mrs. Fred (Laura) Smith, Dahinda, Ill., and Mrs. Tom Peve, Moline; two brothers, Ervin Mosher, Victoria and Wesley Mosher, Moline; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters, two brothers and a grandchild.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. McKay died Sunday in Franciscan Hospital.
Fanny LaVon Mosher was born in Victoria, Ill. She married Mr. McKay in 1918 in Galesburg, Ill.
Mrs. McKay is survived by her husband; daughters, Miss Mildred L. McKay, Chicago, and Mrs. Donald Andrews, Rock Island; a son, Lester L., with whom she resided; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; sisters, Mrs. Earl Brigggs, Victoria; Mrs. Bill (Eva) Smith and Mrs. Raymond (Lucille) Smith, and Mrs. Raymond (Lucille) Smith, both of Laura, Ill.; Mrs. Fred (Laura) Smith, Dahinda, Ill., and Mrs. Tom Peye, Moline, and brothers, Ervin Mosher, Victoria, and Wesley Mosher, Moline.
