He was a native of Bayou L'ourse and a resident of Donner.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula, LA from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM with
Burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Theresa Marie Toups Landry; daughter, April Landry; grandsons, Jason and Jared LeMaire, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Landry; parents, Xavier and Doveline Landry; brother, Eddie Landry, and sisters, Aline Landry, Clara Boudreaux, and Julia Theriot.
He was a retired WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from Shell Oil after 35 years. He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He devoted his life to his family and enjoyed spending his time gardening and repairing things around the family home. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
