Mother of Charles Frederick Fifer III, Carlton Fifer, Larry Fifer, and Mary (Fifer) Fennemore.

In 1932, Mrs. Fifer and her husband began farming in Wyoming and building what today is the Fifer Orchards in Wyoming. She was very dedicated to her family and faith and had traveled the world extensively, lending support to many missions worldwide.

Literacy was extremely important to Mrs. Fifer and she was very active in the Laubach Literacy Program.

Mrs. Fifer was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Farmington, and also attended Wyoming United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Wyoming-Camden Roundtable, a life member of the Delaware Grange, a member of the Delaware Farm Bureau and participated in numerous prayer and Bible study groups.

She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
