Miles is the son of Francis and Pearl Scott. He is buried next to them. On the eve of his death, his brother Gerald Hugh (also buried next to Miles) can remember his mother, Pearl, carrying Miles, who was burning with fever around the house trying to comfort him. When she could no longer hold him, his brother Gerald Hugh put a blanket in a wagon and pulled Miles around in the house until morning. He died the following day. This is the only known picture of Miles.
