Marion was the beloved wife of Ralph G. Abbott for 55 years.
Born in Doylestown, Marion was a daughter of the late George S. and Ellen Selser Marlin. She had been a resident of Lower Gwynedd for the past eight and one half years and was formerly a resident of Warrington for 46 years.
Marion was a retired elementary school teacher, retiring in 1980 after 25 years. The majority of her teaching was for the Central Bucks School District at Titus and Pine Run Schools.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ralph L. Abbott of Hatboro and Leigh M. Abbott of Tinicum Township, Delaware County, Pa.; one daughter, Sharon E. Abbott of Warminster; and two grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral service Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington. Interment at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
