Ralph G. Abbott of Springhouse Estates died Saturday, Dec 27, 2003, at North Penn Hospital, Lansdale. He was 90.
He was the beloved husband of the late Marion Marlin Abbott for 55 years.
Born in Doylestown, Ralph was a lifelong resident of Warrington until moving to Springhouse Estate 14 years ago. Prior to his retirement in 1975, Ralph was employed by the Department of the Navy as a systems analyst. He had also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Having grown up on a farm, he continued his love for home gardening and farming. He also was an avid round and square dancer and was a former member of the Buckaroos and Roving Squares dancing clubs.
Ralph faithfully attended Warrington Fellowship Church.
He is survived by two sons, Ralph L. Abbott and Leigh M. Abbott and his wife, Gwen; a daughter, Sharon E. Abbott; and two granddaughters, Melissa and Sarah.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec 31, at Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
