Margaret was born March 7, 1920, in Peoria to Charles and Mary (Knapp) Beam. She married Melvin Densberger on Nov. 20, 1940. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sharon Kottabi; two brothers; and two sisters.
Margaret is survived by two sons, Danny (Mary) Densberger of East Peoria, Ill., and Roger (Anita) Densberger of Apopka, Fla.; one son-in-law, Javad Kottabi; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Margaret worked for over 20 years in the billing department at Klaus Radio.
She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, where she proudly served as president; Past Caterpillar Retirees; East Peoria Women's Club; and Red Hat Society.
