James Ingram Obituary

A Memorial Service for James Ingram, 87, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 28, 2014 in the Bethany Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Billy Muckerunder the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

James Wallace Ingram was born March 18, 1927 to George and Pearl (Thorpe) Ingram in Calvin, OK and passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 in his Clinton, OK home.

James was raised and attended school in Calvin, OK. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy when he was 16 years old and served in the Korean War. After his discharge from the military he attended diesel mechanic school in Okmulgee, OK. He worked for numerous years as a mechanic and moved to Clinton, OK in 1980. He was married to Betty Jo Buchanan on June 13, 1987 in Kansas. 

He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church; he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Frank Ingram and four grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, of the home, three daughters, Deborah Ferguson, of Oregon, Teresa Campbell, of TX and Patricia Lewis, OKC, OK and two sons, Sam Ingram and Richard Ingram, both of OR, a sister, Lorene Murray, of California.

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
