OBITUARY Iron River Reporter April 17 1985 "Obituaries: Julius Boroski"
IRON RIVER-Julius Boroski, 64, of 838 Pentoga Trail, died April 13 at Iron County General Hospital.
Mr. Boroski was born Feb. 14, 1921 in Stambaugh and attended the Stambaugh schools. He served in the Army during World War II and was married to the former Lois Gulgren in Iron River. In 1942 the couple moved to Lincoln Park, and in 1955 they moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he owned and operated the Exotic Lawn Service Co. until retiring in 1978. After he retired, they moved to their cottage on Chicaugon Lake.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Thomas Boroski of Moab, Utah and Kenneth Felde of Auburn, N.H.; two daughters, Jill Nichols of East Lansing and Ginger Pawlish of Lansing, Ill.; a brother William Boroski of Guardian City; five sisters, Bernice Jensen of Stambaugh, Eleanore Znorski of Iron River, Charlotte Pond of Caspian, Pauline Penkivech of Minnesota and Martha Boroski of Mexico; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
There was no visitation.
Services were held April 15 at the Duvall-Jacobs Funeral Home. The Rev. Albert Stroh, pastor of First Baptist Church here, officiated.
Burial was in Stambaugh Cemetery.
The family requested that flowers be omitted.
