Emily T. Sheraski, age 78, of 2131 S. 11th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday, June 9, 1992, at the Park Lawn Home in Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, and 10 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M., with burial to follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born October 6, 1913 in Manitowoc, Wis., daughter of the late Michael and Constance Sitkiewitz Plotka. She married Frank G. Sheraski on February 5, 1934, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on September 6, 1971. She was employed at the Shady Lane Home in Manitowoc for several years until her retirement in 1986 due to illness, and was an honorary member of the St. Mary's Rosary and Altar Society.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, David Sheraski of Manitowoc, Chester and Kay Sheraski of Sheboygan; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Carl Blahnik; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Gertrude Plotka of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, other relatives and friends also survive.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home Thursday evening from 4-8 p.m. where a rosary service will be held by the St. Mary's Rosary and Altar Society at 4:30 p.m., and a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by the Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M.
