My Aunt Theda (Beulah's granddaughter) said she actually had her ashes scattered in an unknown place.

Beulah married Ward Holt Johnson (GA) in Saline Co., AR on 14 Sep 1890.

However, she continued to use the Henderson surname until her death in 1964.

She was a beautiful woman, very tall and willowy, but did not have a disposition to match. I remember her well as I was 22 at the time of her death from colon cancer.

Her mother, Tennessee Virginia Rogers/Hoodenpyl-Carlton was 1/2 Cherokee.

She had two sons by 1st husband, Ward: Fred Lee Johnson (#122408461) b. 1892 AR, and Harry Holt b. 1895. She had a daughter Beulah b. 1899-1902 by Mr. Holland. I don't know what happened to her. Harry d. at age 26 from rusty drug needle. Fred was a famous pottery Artist who d. early in 1953...he was my beloved grandfather.
