Michael Joseph Clohesy was the 3rd born to David Clohesy and Catherine McNamara. The two older siblings were Mary Ann (b: 1866)and Thomas B. (b:1868).These years of birth are
found in the 1880 U.S. Census. It seems as though Michael
Joseph assumed the birth date of his older brother after
the family refused to have anything to do with Thomas B.
Clohesy. This took place after the "scandal" of the "Golden Rule Building and Loan Association" shortly after the birth of his (Thomas B. Clohesy ) son, David Clohesy. Michael
was married three times. His first two wives died and his
last wife, Margaret White is buried next to him at Mount
Carmel Cemetery. His first wife was Elizabeth (Lizzie) Ellen Collins -MARRIED: 22 / OCTOBER / 1895-gave birth to PHILIP MICHAEL &
Marion Estelle Clohesy. The second wife was Cecelia "Lilly"
White-MARRIED: 17 / JANUARY / 1905.......
Lilly gave birth to John Cecil Clohesy. 3RD MARRIAGE: MARGARET WHITE-MARRIAGE: 21/APRIL/1917.
Michael Joseph Clohesy lived his last years with his daughter, Marion Estelle and her husband, Leo J. Connelly at 118 South Elmwood Ave in Oak Park, Illinois. His daughter, Marion Estelle Connelly nee Clohesy was the godmother to James Edward Wilson.
