Norma Jean Beadling Kent, 88, passed away, Thursday, April 17, 2014, at her residence in Vincennes.
She was born on August 19, 1925, in Brazil. She was the daughter of Joseph and Susan (Torbert) Beadling.
Mrs. Kent graduated from Brazil High School in the Class of 1943 and from St. Anthony School of Nursing in Terre Haute, Class of 1946. She was a member of the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps.
Her survivors include a sister, Betty Lou Bayse of Plainfield; a nephew, Gerald W. Bayse of Clayton; and a niece, Suellen Bayse Meyer of Plainfield. She is also survived by two great-nieces and four great-nephews and nine great-great-nephews and five great-great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Paul Kent in 2006.
A private burial will be held at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Brazil. Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, is handling arrangements.
