JOHN ADAM WISSINGER, retired farmer, died at his home, 15 West Salisbury street, Williamsport, yesterday afternoon, from complications, aged 79 years. Mr. Wissinger had lived in Williamsport for the past 17 years.

He was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Hagerstown.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Susan Catherine Wissinger, four daughters, Mrs. Lettie V. Michaels, Appletown; Mrs. Charles Shoemaker, near Benevola; Mrs. William Reid, and Mrs. Melton Ridenour, both of Marlowe, WV; and two sons, Harry M. Wissinger, Williamsport; and Clarence S. Wissinger, Falls City, Nebraska; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Baker, near Benevola; and Mrs. Ella Baker, Oregon, Illinois; 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the home in Williamsport; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
