Frank L. Babarsky, 72, died August 19, 2005, after a long, courageous battle with Fibrous Sarcoma, an especially rare, aggressive form of cancer. Let it be known that he never, ever gave up. His body just wore out.
Frank was a devoted fan of the Arizona Cardinal Football team, (the old Chicago Cardinals). He loved spending time with family, music, especially Opera and Civil War history.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sophie (Klepczarek) Barbarsky; his brother, Donald and his granddaughter, Liann Lynn Swatkowski.
His survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Kevin Knourek; two grandchildren; and sister, Arlene (the late Tony) Morris; former husband of Sylvia Boubin. Frank was a kind and devoted uncle; great-uncle; "Special uncle"; and friend to Darlyne Danca and Robert Boubin.
Frank will be missed for his generosity, wit and wisdom. May he rest in peace.
Cremation and memorial service are private.
