Carl Gregor was the eldest child of 9 children born to Edward and Lydia Gregor. He worked the farm with his father and brothers near Davidson, SK and married Ruth Nixon in 1942. Carl served in WWll and was deployed just a few months after his wedding. He returned from the war and bought a farm near Girvin, SK, where he and Ruth farmed until their retirement. They raised a son (Douglas) and a daughter (Diane.)

Besides running his farm, Carl worked for the RM of Arm River running a bobcat, was a linesman and president of the Sprattsville Telephone Co, helped organize the Sunkist Tree Planting Association, and was the Chairman of the Reber School Board. Carl also was a councilor and then Reeve for the RM of Willner, Division l, President of the Davidson Agricultural Society, and a 58 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 51. At age 92, Carl was still living in his own home, running his own errands and meeting his friends for coffee.

A Funeral Service was held on December 29, 2006 at the Davidson United Church.
