Felix "Sonny" Schultz Griffith, IN Felix "Sonny" Schultz, age 72, of Griffith, IN, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-two years, Nancy; son, John (Lori) Schultz of AZ; daughter, Claire Schultz of Griffith; two step-sons: Philip (Nancy) Mares of FL and Steven (Ruth) Mares of Lansing; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (James) Van Dommelen of St. John; brother, Donald Schultz of Sauk Village; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a very faithful dog named Shaggy. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Daniel. Friends may meet with the family at the Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home and Crematory on the corner of Kennedy and Main Streets, Schererville/Highland on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Tom Kriedler, officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home. Felix was a longtime area resident. He retired from Acme Steel Company with thirty-two years of service.
